This level 3 class brings our English IAA cycle to a close.
Chart reading practice is an essential part of the training and will also help those continuing with case studies.
Level 3 - Time, the past, the future, the luck periods and several other points:
We finish much detail from level 1 & 2 and now with the luck periods we can interpret past and future as well as the present. After Level 3 you can do 20 case studies and be certified as an IAA consultant if you are on our UHT data base - but you can also learn this for yourself or to fit into other therapy work.
We are in Yin Water Rabbit Year until 4th February 2024 (and the Lunar Year is celebrated on the 10th February so look out for dragons and firecrackers) so what does that mean for us? That means in 5 element terms water and wood, and that indicates philosophy and studying, but no metal, fire or earth this year. Green Dragon Year flies in on the 4th February, read more:
IAA Level 1 is part of Certified Instructor Training, as it brings deeper understanding of the 5 elements, the core of Taoism. Studying a student’s chart, or your own, gives calcuable insights of how to balance the energies in the chart, using UHT practices.
The practices will help reduce energy and emotional excesses and boost deficiencies, bringing in emotional and physical improvements. This year is a great time to study this with us, the yang wood of the heavenly stem and the importance and earth of the dragon, also some yin wood and yin water! Go for it.....
There is no evaluation for Level 1,
but as part of the UHT system, you might like to continue
to study Level 2 & 3, do the case studies and
to certify as IAA Chart Reader (IACR).

Chart reading workshops are organised too and repeated regularly on-line for those wishing to study Inner Alchemy Astrology, and have already studied some of the curriculum. They are an essential part of chart reading practice in the curriculum.

Buying the Inner Alchemy Astrology Book - see further down page, is strongly recommended; it contains all relevant charts and tables. Any necessary tables for a class will be provided to students, but not all the IAA book tables.
The five elements and yin and yang are the building blocks of the Universe and are at the heart of understanding Taoism.

What ARE the 5 elements? They are 5 energies which have been referred to in Chinese as ‘5 energies which act like 5 elements’ for over 5,000 years. This term is usually shortened to ‘5 elements’. As they are energies, these elements forge our character and the way we live. We could have lots of energy for one activity, but little for another.
Taoist inner alchemy practices and body-work treatments are based on harmonising these elements within us to transform our negative energies into vitality and heal our minds and bodies.
